What is this thing?
The ULS is an opportunity for students/faculty to present on non-academic topics of interest to them. We meet on Thursdays at 4:30pm, currently via Google Meet.
This speaker series gives people a chance to get to know each other on a more personal level, and allows for some public speaking practice with less pressure than a research talk.
Is there a mailing list or something?
Yes! You can subscribe to the ULS mailing list on mailman for approximately-weekly announcements.
That sounds awesome, can I give a talk?
Yes! Email james.wright@ualberta.ca to get onto the schedule.
